The iHawk Academy was created out of an innate need to change the traditional classroom. Research shows here is an urgent need to motivate disengaged students and teach real world skills through personalized learning.
Personalized learning tailors what, when, where and how students learn to their individual needs, skills and interests. It enables students to take ownership of their learning and helps them develop deep connections with each other, their teachers and other adults
The iHawk academy will embody a culture where teachers and students are equal partners in the learning process and exemplify a personalized learning environment incorporating student-centered instructional methodologies with a strong emphasis on student voice and choice.
